The eternal conundrum: spend half an hour figuring out how to configure nautilus or rsync at the one end and how to set up nfs on the machine that only has smb at the other? Or just drag a bunch of things and go to bed while you wait for the 2000 1kb/s transfers you just started to finish? There are many variants of this.
I've had decent luck with sshfs on occasion, FWIW.

A lot of people don't seem to understand that in many dialects of English there are distinct singular and plural second person pronouns *and you have to use the right one or you are being ungrammatical* just like in the vast majority of other languages that distinguish singular and plural pronouns.
"Y'all" isn't something you say to be folksy, it's something you say because you are addressing multiple people and that's how grammar works.
